Practical experience

Practical sourcing experience through our own B2B brand

Trinity Enterprises AB, which provides TE Advisory, also operates VyPack, a B2B packaging brand serving European business customers. Through VyPack, we work directly with European buyers while coordinating specifications, quotations and supplier communication with production partners in China. Process

A six-step working method

  1. 01

    Define the requirement

Category, specification, price target, volume and territory, agreed in writing.

  2. 02

    Identify potential counterparties

A realistic shortlist of suppliers, manufacturers or brands.

  3. 03

    Qualify and open direct discussions

Qualification questions, documents and transparent direct contact.

  4. 04

    Compare samples, pricing and terms

Samples, quotations and supply terms compared on a common basis.

  5. 05

    Coordinate documents and pilot order

Document collection and the terms of a first pilot order.

  6. 06

    Handover or ongoing coordination

Hand over to the parties, or continue as commercial coordinator.

Scope

Suitable sourcing categories

  • Packaging, boxes, bags, labels and printed materials
  • Promotional merchandise and corporate gifts
  • Retail displays and point-of-sale materials
  • Home, lifestyle and gift products
  • Textile accessories and simple sewn products
  • General consumer accessories
  • Simple components and made-to-spec products
  • Other non-regulated B2B goods assessed case by case

We focus primarily on lower-complexity, non-regulated sourcing assignments. Medical devices, pharmaceuticals, hazardous goods and other heavily regulated categories are outside our standard scope unless the required licensed specialists and responsible parties are appointed separately. None of these categories is risk-free or automatically compliant. Every project still requires feasibility, compliance and commercial review.

Consumer product samples, cartons, labels and documents being reviewed for European distribution

China → Europe coordination

Preparing a product route for the European market

For China-made consumer products, we can coordinate sample, packaging and commercial-document review with the relevant buyer and separately appointed specialists before a pilot order. Market access and regulatory acceptance are never guaranteed.
